How Schools Kill Creativity
Objective: Design a 20+ page book using some form of imagery.
Concept: For this project, I created a book using the transcript of Sir Ken Robinson’s viral TED Talk, “How Schools Kill Creativity." My concept utilized grid structure to convey how education can have formality without putting constraints on creativity. I found inspiration in classical school notebooks and textbooks for the type choice and formal grid structure. I also incorporated my own collages to communicate creativity and its potential when integrated with education.
